Duties And Responsibilities
- Review briefs, motions, and other case filings
- Conduct thorough and comprehensive legal research on a wide range of topics
- Prepare written memos
- Draft, proofread, and cite-check judicial opinions
- Attend oral arguments
- Perform other duties as assigned
To qualify for this position, you must meet the following requirementsby the start date:
- Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent degree from an accredited law school
- Be a member of The Missouri Bar or be eligible to sit for the Missouri bar examination
- Exceptional legal research, writing, and critical reasoning skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Proficiency with legal research and word processing technologies, including Westlaw and Microsoft Word
