Higginsville Habilitation Center Leadership Development Coach (0300016)
Higginsville Habilitation Center is recruiting for a Leadership Development Coach, to be a part of a highly effective team, that makes a difference in the lives of adults with developmental disabilities. HHC is a state operated program within the Department of Mental Health and supports individuals receiving 24/7 services.
The Leadership Development Coach must be detail-oriented, work well with others, have good time management skills, possess leadership skills, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and other computer programs.
Responsibilities
This is a professional training and development position accountable for the delivery of pre-designed or customized instructional programs and courses, administering assessments, and providing coaching to supervising staff. The Leadership Development Coach will be responsible for training personnel in areas of professional development, supervisory and managerial skills, human resources, e-learning, and continuous improvement. This position is responsible for providing all levels of management and supervisors at HHC professional development training, including but not limited to basic supervision, DMH Way, ENGAGE, etc. in individual and group settings.

Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher
- 5 or more years of work experience in human services, I/DD supports, and/or human resources
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Three or more years of supervisory experience
- Lack of post‐secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
- $51,854.88 annually/$2,160.62 per pay period
- 8:00 am to 4:30 pm with Saturday and Sunday as days off, with flexibility to accommodate the needs of supporting supervisors in a 24/7 facility.
