What You'll Do

  • Perform manual tasks in mopping, scrubbing, dusting, polishing and similar custodial tasks.
  • Strip, clean, wax, and polish floors.
  • Assist in care of grounds when required.
  • Moves equipment, furniture and supplies when necessary.
  • Operate various powered equipment (i.e. mechanical scrubbers, polishers, washers) in performance of assigned duties.
  • Clean classrooms, offices, restrooms and residential areas.
  • Clean contaminated areas using protective clothing, devices and agents as designated.

Minimum Qualifications

All you need for success:

  • High School diploma or GED certificate.
  • Knowledge of materials, methods and equipment used in custodial work.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year experience in custodial work preferred.

STATE TAX REQUIREMENT
