Examples Of Work
- Ensure overall cleanliness of Home through planning and directing all housekeeping functions, including insect control.
- Maintain all necessary documentation and information meets federal and Veterans Administration regulations.
- Schedule cleaning services to coordinate with Veteran’s daily routine and preferences.
- Oversee the supervision, recruitment, retention, performance management, discipline, and feedback to the housekeeping staff.
- Monitor supply inventories and coordinate with Purchasing for needed equipment and supplies, and make sure the department is operating within budget.
- Prepare schedules/assignments for weekly, monthly, quarterly special projects and hold month departmental meetings.
- Make sure safe work practices are developed and adhered to in regard to handling chemicals and machinery.
- 4 years of experience in related area
- 1 years of supervisory experience
