This role plays a key part in our ITSM implementation and the ongoing evolution of citizen-facing digital services. • Design, develop, and maintain ServiceNow applications, modules, and workflows to support ITSM and other enterprise service delivery needs.
• Promote platform adoption by mentoring peers, sharing best practices, and helping establish a ServiceNow Center of Excellence to scale knowledge and innovation across teams.
• Develop and maintain detailed specifications for projects built within ServiceNow.
• Provide day-to-day general support, administration, and maintenance of applications and workflows built in ServiceNow.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ServiceNow functionality, integrations, and performance.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards.
• Proven ability to design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and workflows.
• Experience with ServiceNow Studio, App Engine, and Scoped Applications.
• Hands-on ServiceNow development experience, particularly in ITSM modules such as Incident, Problem, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with programming languages such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript.
• Ability and Willingness to learn new things in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable with assisting other developers and providing training and support.
• Front-facing UX/UI development experience preferred.
• Passion for strategic planning and process improvement.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate’s name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
