Job Summary
This posting will be used to hire for multiple vacancies. These roles are anticipated to support a variety of departments within The Governor's Office including legal, operations, executive operations, and communications.
The Office Coordinator will provide critical office-wide management support to the Office of Governor Tim Walz and Lieutenant Peggy Flanagan. This role will be responsible for managing assigned department priorities, office-wide administrative tasks that support the daily operations of multiple teams, and assist with implementation of our One Minnesota office culture strategy. The coordinator will be assigned to a specific department or departments, which could include legal, appointments, operations, scheduling and executive operations, communications, policy, or engagement.
In this job you will:
- Provide operational support to the assigned area by responding to inquiries, both in writing and verbally
- Drafting memos and other written materials
- Conducting research for projects
- Schedule and conduct necessary preparation for meetings
- Process incoming and outgoing mail for your department
- Auditing inventory, logging gifts, and other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience working in part of a team (work, volunteer or school experience)
- Proven organizational and communication skills
- Experience using the Microsoft suite of products

Physical Requirements
Light lifting, up to 10 pounds, the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation.
