This position assists the Infection Control Supervisor with Infection Control, Environment of Care, Water Management Programs and equipment management in the Hospital Clinic for both the Adult and Child/Adolescent populations. This position serves as an occasional backup for the Patient Clinic and Occupational Health Nurse.
The preferred and appointed candidate will be subject to pre-employment, random, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty and follow-up drug and/or alcohol testing.
To Be Considered For This Position You Must
Required Education And Experience
Education
Possession of a diploma, associate's, bachelor's, or master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
Experience
No specific type or amount is required.
Additional Requirements And Information
Possession of a Michigan license in good standing as a registered nurse.
The Department of Corrections will not hire individuals who have been convicted of a felony or who have felony charges pending, in accordance with Public Act 140 of 1996.
