What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse Manager 12 position at State of Michigan?
This position will be highly visible and is expected to round regularly to monitor for appropriate nursing techniques and compliance with policies and standards of care. Auditing of multiple different care areas and focuses will be required. This position will need to communicate and assist with member, family and staff concerns in the absence of the Unit Coordinator or Director of Nursing.
Other supervisory duties included in this position include processing time sheets, approving leave time, counseling and discipline, and performance evaluations for subordinates.

Completion of a degree in nursing or nursing school educational program accepted for registered nurse licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
Experience
One year of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11.
Alternate Education and Experience
Registered Nurse Manager 12
Possession of a master's degree in nursing may be substituted for one year of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11; or, possession of a bachelor's degree in nursing may be substituted for six months of experience equivalent to a Registered Nurse P11.
Possession of a Michigan registered nurse license in good standing.
