What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Office Assistant 5-E7 - CSA CWL Central Office and Placement position at State of Michigan?

The Organizational Support Unit (OSU) is comprised of six positions. The OSU positions handle a variety of administrative support assignments that directly assist the Division of Child Welfare Licensing (DCWL). Possible duties for these positions include filing; retrieving; inputting and uploading data; sorting and distributing mail; copying; reviewing forms for accuracy and required completeness; following up with Child Placing Agencies (CPA) for more information relating to forms submitted or other documentation; verifying information; obtaining more information, and to ensure that all supporting documentation has been received. While specific positions in the OSU are assigned specific duties, DCWL strives to have each member of the OSU understand as many duties as possible to (1) efficiently backup other members and (2) allow DCWL flexibility in assigning duties to meet operational needs.

No specific type or amount of experience is required.
General Office Assistant 6
One year of administrative support experience.
General Office Assistant E7

The office location for this position is at 235 S. Grand Ave., Lansing, MI however, this position has the ability to work hybrid (combination of remote and office).
