Job Description
This position performs a range of analytical assignments, including, but not limited to, designing, developing, testing, and implementing configuration changes to software and case management tools for the Bureau. This position provides technical support for the Bureau's software tools. This position also works with other team members to support the configuration of the case management tool and take part in analyzing and evaluating case assignment results. This position functions as an analyst performing a range of assignments in a supporting role that will work with other team members within the Technology and System Support unit to support all technology projects and software for the Bureau. This position also serves as a liaison between Department of Management, Technology and Budget (DTMB) and Treasury plus any contractual staff that may be assigned to support Treasury tools.

Departmental Analyst 9 (Departmental Trainee ) for CLASSIFIED STATE OF MICHIGAN EMPLOYEES ONLY
Education
Educational level typically acquired through completion of high school.
Experience
Four years of experience as an advanced 9-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Three years of experience as an E9, E10, or E11-level worker in an ECP Group One classification.
OR
Two years of experience as an experienced level worker in an ECP Group One technician or paraprofessional classification.
OR
Two years of experience as a first-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
OR
One year of experience as a second-line supervisor in an ECP Group Three classification.
College credits may be substituted on a proportional basis (one year of college education may substitute for one quarter of the required experience) for up to one half of the required experience.

Remote work arrangements are subject to management approval and may be adjusted or discontinued at any time.
Work must be performed in the state of Michigan . If you currently reside outside of Michigan, you must relocate to Michigan to perform the duties of this position prior to being appointed to the position. Relocation expenses are not reimbursed.
