Introduction
The Thomas B. Finan Center is an inpatient psychiatric hospital located in Cumberland, Maryland. It is owned and managed by the state of Maryland.� This state psychiatric facility operates 88 beds. The Finan Center provides services to persons who are 18 years of age and older.

Main Purpose of Job
This recruitment is for two part-time contractual positions. Both positions will provide psychiatric treatment to mentally ill patients of the Thomas B. Finan Center. They will also provide on call coverage for clinical services to patients, develops patient treatment plans, implements and overseas treatment plans, orders tests and prescribes medication.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:� Determined by the Maryland State Board of Physicians under the licensing requirements for Physicians.� Experience:� As required for certification In Psychiatry by the American Medical Association Specialty Board or other Board approved by the Maryland Board of Physicians.� Employees in this classification are subject to substance abuse testing in accordance with Code of Maryland Regulations 17.04.09, Testing for Illegal Use of Drugs.
