Main Purpose of Job
The main purpose of this position is to receive, issue, and maintain medical, housekeeping, office, maintenance, and other various supplies for the operation of a long-term care hospital (LTCH), a skilled nursing facility (SNF), and a 27-station kidney dialysis.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education:�� Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate. Experience:� Five years of experience in receiving, storing and issuing supplies, materials and equipment in a storeroom, warehouse or other supply storage facility. Notes: 1. Candidates may substitute additional experience as described above�on a year-for-year basis for up to four years of the required education. 2. Candidates may substitute U.S. Armed Forces military service experience at a rank of Corporal/Petty Officer or higher as a non- commissioned officer in logistics specialist classifications or administrative support specialty codes in the logistics field of work, on a year-for-year basis for the required experience.
DESIRED OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
The desired candidate should possess the following: Experience working with inventory systems and maintaining stock accuracy Experience effectively managing time and resources to meet organizational goals Experience supervising and overseeing staff and operations
