The purpose of this position is to complete various physical, custodial, and/or administrative tasks to include cleaning various facilities and assisting with the public.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:No experience or training required.The official job specifications for this role, as defined by the State Civil Service, can be found here.
Job Duties:
Performs custodial duties necessary to maintain clean and sanitary conditions of facilities.
Cleans interior and exterior of facilities at site.
Operate fee station at park entrance.
Assist in upkeep of site grounds and facilities.
Assists in collection of appropriate fees from site visitors.
- Provides a high level of customer service and assists customers with inquiries.
Requires the ability to stoop, bend, balance, kneel, crouch, sit, stand, and walk on a regular daily basis.
Position-Specific Details:
Location: Bogue Chitto State Park, Franklinton, LA
Appointment Type: This position will be filled as a part-time Classified WAE, limited to 1,245 working hours in a 12 month period. **Starting Hourly Pay varies, depending on experience.**
Work Schedule: Part-time; Mon-Sun; Weekends and Holidays may be required.
