Six years of experience in any field plus three years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement; OR
A bachelor's degree plus three years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement; OR
An advanced degree plus two years of experience in accounting, budgeting, contracts, economics, engineering, finance, financial auditing, grants, human resources, information technology, management analysis, operational auditing, policy planning, procurement, social services, statistical analysis, tax collections, or tax enforcement.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.
Job Duties:
• Analyzes the programs, policies, procedures, and methods of operation with OMV to determine objectives attainment, process efficiency, and service quality. Obtains, reviews, and analyzes data concerning programs or operations; scope and goals; and the policies, practices, methods, and procedures used to implement and maintain projects.
• Directs or conducts management studies of program areas, duty assignments of employees, administrative control systems, and the impact of programs. Documents findings and suggests ways to enhance programs’ effectiveness and efficiencies.
• Obtains and evaluates data on personnel, equipment, material, and space utilization. Performs market analyses of new products, processes, systems, and technologies, and makes recommendations to management for program enhancements.
• Participates in training or retraining agency employees as needed
Position-Specific Details:
Appointment Type: This position will be filled as a job appointment for a limited duration, not to exceed four years.
Work Schedule: Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
Career Progression: This position does not participate in a Career Progression Group.Compensation: The salary offered will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
