Position Summary & Responsibilities
Position Summary: Performs a variety of tasks cleaning a facility. Promotes "Green" cleaning and maintenance in day-to-day tasks and practices to advance healthier work environments.
Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
- Daily empties waste baskets, empties trash, cleans wash bowls, stools, urinals and scrubs floors for all restrooms. Sanitizes and check deodorants, paper towels, toilet tissue, soaps and replace as needed. Cleans walls and partitions in all restrooms.
- Vacuum and sweeps halls, landings and stairways per schedule. Spot clean walls, door and glass. Dust and Clean window ledges, Venetian blinds, bookcases, chairs and other furniture. Scrub and clean main entry way, landings and stairways.
- Uses the appropriate machinery and chemicals to clean carpets, strips, wax and seal non-carpeted floors.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
Licensing & Certification: Driver's License
Minimum Qualifications: General Education
Post-Offer, Pre-employment Requirements: Must be able to complete and pass background check and drug screen approved by the Office of Personnel Services.
