Position Summary & Responsibilities: This position is responsible to plan, organize and supervise recreation programs for the inmates of the facility. Evaluates inmate need for recreation activities taking into consideration inmate health, abilities, safety and ACI standards. The Activity Specialist is responsible for the recreation program at HCF-Central Unit. Activities include, but not limited to, basketball, softball, weightlifting, volleyball, shuffleboard, ping-pong and other table games. Incumbent will supervise staff assigned to gym and yard including resident work crew and resident participants.
Minimum Qualifications:
Five years of experience in recreation, athletics, music or art. Education may be substituted for experience as determined relevant by the agency.

Selection Process:
