Position Summary & Responsibilities:

Position Summary:

This Utility Worker position works in the District Five office located in Great Bend, KS. The purpose of this temporary position is to provide building services and perform routine manual inspection and labor.

Job Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:

• Ensures assigned KDOT properties are mowed in a timely manner.
• Performs general maintenance activities.
• Assists with flagging on active worksites.
• Runs deliveries and picks up supplies.
• Performs other miscellaneous duties.

• Valid Driver’s License at time of appointment.

• This position is subject to pre-employment physical capacity testing. The selected candidate will be required to pass the screening as a condition of employment.
• Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate: A valid Kansas Tax Clearance Certificate is a condition of employment for all employees of the State of Kansas. A Tax Clearance can be obtained through the Kansas Department of Revenue who reviews individual accounts for compliance with Kansas Tax Law.
