The salary for this position is $63,585.60-$156,499.20, depending on experience.

- persons selected for this role will prosecute criminal cases in federal court while cross-designated as Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys and working out of the office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of Iowa in Des Moines, Davenport, or Council Bluffs. This is a three-year term appointment.
- persons selected for this role will prosecute criminal cases in federal court while cross-designated as Special Assistant U.S. Attorneys and working out of the Cedar Rapids office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Iowa. This is a three-year term appointment.
