- Serves as Staff Development Training Administrator for Central and Southern Region;
- Manages the Department's Title IV-E Annual Training Plan, Training Budget, and Training Evaluation process;
- Coordinates regional professional development activities;
- In collaboration with the Division of Quality Assurance, provides leadership in the development of a system of performance analysis that identifies performance gaps and develops remedial training strategies;
- Conducts and provides input into various special projects and initiatives;
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated
above.
- Requires a master’s degree in social work or a related human services field from a recognized college or university.
- Requires three years of progressively responsible administrative child welfare experience with an MSW OR four years of progressively responsible administrative experience with a master’s degree in a related human services field
- Of the 3 years of required experience, requires that the experience involve the administration of child protection services/investigations; requires experience in developing and delivering training content.

- This position has been found to meet the requirements in section 4A-101 of the Illinois Governmental Ethics Act requiring the occupant/employee to file a Statement of Economic Interest.
