Example Of Duties
- Oversee system performance, policy design, and statewide partnerships.
- Coverage for the Bureau Chief when needed or additional support on project-based work is occurring.
- Ensures operational consistency, performance monitoring, and day-to-day problem resolution.
- Works with COC Bureau staff to measure and analyze outcomes in meeting objectives and priorities for services including preparing outcome reports.
- Ensures services are provided in accordance with laws, regulations, contract requirements, and quality standards, including evidence-based practices.
- Recruits, hires, supervises, and trains staff, including performance reviews and corrective/disciplinary actions.

- Some knowledge of management practices as well as experience providing technical proficiency, problem-solving, communication, and program area training.Typically gained by at least one-year experience managing a major Program and providing leadership of professional staff. Candidates may also qualify through completing upper-division college-level management coursework along with experience in a significant Leadership role.
