The notice of the last day to file applications will be posted on the State of Hawaii's Civil Service Job Opportunities Listing page of our website.Performs routine manual and semi-skilled tasks and assists a building maintenance worker or a skilled building tradesperson in building maintenance and repair work relevant to the carpentry, plumbing, painting, and electrical trades; and perform other related duties as assigned.

To qualify, you must meet all of the following requirements:

LEGAL AUTHORIZATION TO WORK:

The State of Hawaii requires all persons seeking employment with the government of the State shall be citizens, nationals, or permanent resident aliens of the United States, or eligible under federal law for unrestricted employment in the United States.


Experience and Training: TWO (2) YEARS of work experience in performing a variety of building maintenance repair work, or any equivalent combination of training and experience.

Driver's License: Some positions require possession of a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.


Special Requirement: This position requires a Forklift Certification within 6 months from the date of hire.
