Job Summary: MRI Tech (Albany, GA)
Position: Immediately need an experienced MRI Tech for the 3 months of the contract in Albany, GA.
Details:
Title: MRI Tech
City: Albany
Duration: 13 weeks (Extending)
Shift: 7:00 PM to 5:30 AM. 10 hours. 40 hours a week.
Pay rate: Lucrative pay Benefits Bonus.
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience.
- Must have Siemens experience and Philips experience preferred.
- Active ARRT license.
- COVID Vaccinated.
- BLS / CPR Preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on patients according to established protocols and procedures.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of patients during imaging procedures.
- Prepare patients for examinations by explaining the process and answering any questions.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring it is functioning properly and safely.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and findings.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Adhere to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols at all times.
- Stay updated on advancements in MRI technology and techniques.
Skills:
- Proficient in medical imaging techniques, including MRI, CT, DEXA scan, and sonography.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and diagnostic evaluation processes.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques in a clinical setting.
- Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams.
- Attention to detail in executing imaging procedures and maintaining patient records.
