What are the responsibilities and job description for the ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST position at STATE OF FRANKLIN HEALTHCARE GROUP?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform ultrasound and other procedures on patients as directed by physicians and advanced practitioners
- Routine and complex studies
- Assist physicians in a variety of imaging procedures
- Perform on all age groups from infants to adult/geriatric
- Organize processed images, measurements, calculations, and other data for physicians to interpret
- Maintain equipment and order/stock all ultrasound supplies
- Maintain department records, reports, and files
- Maintain continuing education requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in Radiology Technology from an accredited institution; Registered ARRT by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
EXPERIENCE:
- One year experience in sonography applications
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Registry or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
- Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by ARDMS preferred
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiology Technology (ARRT)
