What are the responsibilities and job description for the MRI TECHNOLOGIST (PRN- AS NEEDED) position at STATE OF FRANKLIN HEALTHCARE GROUP?

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform routine and advanced MRI procedures on designated portions of the body
- Knowledgeable of 3D anatomy and imaging protocols
- Screen patients before examination
- Prepare patient for MRI procedure and answer any questions
- Adjust scan parameters correctly
- Administer contrast media manually and with pressure injector accurately
- Enforce magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operator, and visitors
- Follow physician orders precisely
- Maintain ACR accreditation requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program.
EXPERIENCE:
Candidates must have a minimum of one year experience in MRI scan applications.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
- MRI Technologist License
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (AART) Certification
- Advanced certification in MRI preferred
*If not registered, MRI Registration through ARRT required within 12 months of hire
- Basic Life Support Certification
