  • Review proposed agency rules for legal sufficiency and participate in rule development workshops and hearings.
  • Ensure letters, documents, and internal policies meet legal standards.
  • Respond professionally and effectively to inquiries from the public, agency personnel, and government partners.
  • Review and approve final orders as directed by the General Counsel.
  • Serve as the agency’s designated point of contact for acceptance of summonses and subpoenas on behalf of the Secretary.

What We’re Looking For

  • A seasoned attorney with strong leadership experience and the ability to manage a high‑performing legal team.
  • Demonstrated expertise in administrative law, litigation, statutory interpretation, and government operations.

  • Experience advising senior executives and navigating complex legal and regulatory environments.
  • A collaborative, proactive problem solver committed to supporting effective government decision‑making.
