Summary Statement

The incumbent conducts various detailed inventories to comply with stock rotation schedules, periodic inventory audits, and equipment/materials/parts for proper operation. In addition, the incumbent maintains recordkeeping systems, compares inventory records with sale orders, invoices, and requisitions to verify accuracy and receipt, and investigates discrepancies. The incumbent operates a variety of equipment such as: medium size trucks, forklifts, pallets-jacks, hand trucks and dollies to transport or distribute supplies, materials, or other articles.

Essential Functions

Collects, receives, marks, sorts, stacks, distributes, and inventories supplies, materials, equipment, parts, or other articles. Locates and selects material, supplies, tools, equipment, parts, or other articles from stockroom, warehouse, storage yard, or other related areas. Adjusts, repairs, assembles, or prepares products, supplies, equipment, or other items according to specifications or customer requirements. Operates a variety of equipment for the purpose of preparing, inspecting, weighing, evaluating, recording, marking, or transporting supplies, materials, equipment, or other articles. Records type, quantity, value, or location of material, supplies, equipment or other articles received, shipped, used, or issued.� Cleans and maintains supplies, tools, equipment, instruments, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations; ensures security of inventory.�

Job Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS for Supply, Storage and Distribution Technician II Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: One year experience in inventory control such as ordering, receiving, tracking, storing and handling inventory; disbursing materials, supplies and equipment. One year experience in operating material handling equipment such as medium size trucks, forklifts, hydraulic lifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and dollies to stock/transport materials.� One year experience in creating reports which includes combining and presenting data from multiple sources in an organized format.

Additional Posting Information

This is a Casual/Seasonal position which is a non-pension eligible position without healthcare and/or other benefits.

Conditions of Hire

This position is a classification organized under an exclusive bargaining representative (labor organization) that has been elected by employees as their representative for collective bargaining and other applicable�terms and conditions of employment, in accordance with Title 29, Chapter 59 and Title 19, Chapter 13 and 16.� This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement based on its individual terms. Applicants must provide proof of negative Tuberculosis test within the last 12 months before start date. Pre-employment Drug Testing:� Upon a conditional offer, you must undergo pre-employment drug testing as part of the hiring process.
