COLORADO PARKS AND WILDLIFE (CPW)
Our Mission is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state, to provide a quality state parks system, and to provide enjoyable and sustainable outdoor recreation opportunities that educate and inspire current and future generations to serve as active stewards of Colorado's natural resources. Must be 23 years of age or older.
Must have a current & valid drivers' license or reliable transportation OR Must have a current & valid driver’s license required for operating a state vehicle
Prior to hiring, we will do a comprehensive background check.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
Must be available to work varied shifts (please provide additional details if known).
Natural Resources degree or similar education desired or years of experience with mentoring or teaching.
Previous experience working with the public.
Ability to load, unload ATV/Side by sides.
Ability to drive and back up trailers.
4WD experience.
Supports conservation and hunting as an important part of wildlife management.
Basic computer skills required (MS Office Suite, Google App Suite)
Ability to work with [limited] supervision and work well within a team.
Must be willing and able to work outside which may involve inclement weather.
Must be able to lift [50-100] pounds repeatedly during the course of a workday.
Must be capable of lifting, twisting, and/or crawling.
Preferred previous hunting experience.
Valid Hunter Education Card (required).
Valid First Aid/CPR certification (preferred).
Knowledge of map reading, navigation, onX, and/or Avenza.
