Work may occasionally include overnight travel or travel to remote areas. Training will be provided.
Position will: survey, collect, monitor, or release biological control agents throughout the field season; communicate effectively with co-workers, the public, customers and government officials. Accurately navigate to field sites, document work using GIS or other mapping applications. Drive to and from field sites, therefore a current valid State of Colorado driver's license is required.

One (1) year experience or equivalent education in pest management, land management, natural resources, or related field
Insect and/or plant identification skills
Bachelor's degree in entomology, botany, or relevant agriculture or natural resources field
Insect and/or plant identification skills
Conditions of Employment:
Ability to complete work independently
Be highly organized and able to maintain clear and reliable records
Physically capable of safely working long hours, in all weather conditions
Current Colorado Driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work with large numbers of insects
