Job Summary
The IT Project Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing technology projects that support state government operations. Primary Responsibilities

Provide regular status updates, risk assessments, and performance reports to leadership and stakeholders. Identify and mitigate project risks, security concerns, and compliance issues. Recommend process improvements and technology solutions to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Assist in the modernization of state IT systems, cloud migration, and digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge And Skills
Proficiency in IT project management methodologies. Experience managing software development, IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or digital transformation projects. Knowledge of state IT governance, security compliance frameworks, and procurement policies. Ability to lead teams, drive project success, and make data-informed decisions. Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing project demands.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of three years of experience in project management engineering, systems administration, or a related field.
