Job Summary
The Data Scientist in the State of Arkansas will apply advanced data analysis techniques to solve complex problems and assist in policy decision-making. The Data Scientist will work with large datasets, develop algorithms, and collaborate with other state departments to integrate data into decision-making processes.
Primary Responsibilities

Collaborate with data analysts, developers, and government departments to understand data requirements and deliver actionable solutions. Create data-driven reports and visualizations that communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders. Stay updated with the latest data science trends and technologies, applying new tools to improve analysis and modeling techniques.
Knowledge And Skills
Proficiency in statistical software, machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow), and data visualization tools. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large, complex datasets. Ability to write clear, detailed reports and present findings effectively to stakeholders Advanced statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data modeling techniques. Data mining, natural language processing, and AI-based predictive modeling. Programming languages such as Python, R, or similar tools for data science. Minimum Qualifications
Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field; or a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field plus one year of relevant experience.
