Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, monitor stock levels and support efficient production operations. The ideal candidate for this office position will ensure inventory records are accurate, coordinate material movement throughout the facility and work closely with purchasing, production, shipping and accounting to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate inventory records within the inventory management system.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Analyze inventory trends and recommend process improvements.
- Inventory reporting for the accounting department.
- Maintain documentation for inventory transactions and adjustments.
- Work with production personnel to ensure material availability.
- Assist with inbound orders and scheduling.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree preferred.
- 2 years of inventory control, warehouse or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management software.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Manufacturing or metals industry experience.

Pay: $24.67 - $29.71 per hour
