Responsibilities

- Operate cash registers and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately to process sales transactions efficiently.
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide product information to enhance their shopping experience.
- Handle cash drawer operations, including cash handling, balancing registers, and maintaining accurate cash records.
- Assist customers with product demos and upselling opportunities to maximize sales potential.
- Maintain store merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when responding to inquiries or assisting customers remotely.
- Support retail sales efforts through active communication skills and product knowledge, including grocery store experience if applicable.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering roles is preferred; familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills in a retail environment are advantageous.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly and accurately for transactions and inventory management.
- Strong communication skills with an emphasis on friendly customer interactions and phone etiquette.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively.
- Knowledge of retail store product knowledge, merchandising, and stock management is beneficial.
- Experience in grocery stores or similar retail settings will be considered an asset.
