State Line Garage Doors is expanding in the Lawrence County area, and we are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as an Apprentice Installer / Technician. No prior garage door experience? No problem. If you have a strong work ethic, a mechanical mindset, and know your way around standard hand and power tools, we will personally invest the time to train you in a highly respected, recession-proof trade.
What the Role Involves:
Mechanical Problem-Solving: Diagnosing and handling general repairs, replacing broken springs, installing high-end residential and commercial doors, and replacing motors.
Tech & Electrical Setup: Wiring up components correctly and programming advanced systems like keypads, remotes, and vehicle HomeLink systems.
Core Tool Mastery: Using standard field tools daily, including tape measures, hammers, and impact drivers.
Customer Interaction: Speaking professionally with local homeowners, conducting multi-point maintenance inspections.
Compensation & Growth (W-2 Position):Guaranteed Training Pay: Starts at $600/week (fully taxed W-2) while you learn the ropes.
High Earning Potential: As you master the trade, work independently, and help handle service and sales, your income scales rapidly—with independent technicians making $1,000 to $1,200 /week and more.
Requirements:Valid driver’s license and a clean driving history (required to operate company vehicles).Reliable, punctual, and comfortable with active, hands-on work year-round.Professional attitude when speaking with our customers.
