Summary: We Feed the People! Fun, fast-growing restaurant looking for an experienced Prep Cook and Dishwasher. We run a clean kitchen that creates delicious food in a positive environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Counter service Breakfast and Lunch menu - statehousecafe.com
- Process and prepare high quality, consistent food for our kitchen
- Prep work, inventory and clean up work areas daily
- Dishwashing and kitchen clean up daily
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
Skills & Qualifications
- Some experience in a professional kitchen preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen equipment preferred
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Will train someone with the right attitude!
Schedule & Compensation
- We currently operate on a schedule that matches Gov’t offices, day shift M-F 7:30-2:30. Nights, weekends and holidays typically not required.
- Competitive pay commensurate with Skills and Experience
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift 25-50 Pounds
- Comfortable working in a hot, fast-paced environment
Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
