Role Description The Wide-Format Production and Installer role is a full-time, on-site position based in Barrington, IL. This role is responsible for operating wide-format printing equipment to produce signs, banners, decals, vehicle graphics, and other large-scale visual materials according to job specifications. Day-to-day tasks include preparing files for output, loading substrates, monitoring print quality, trimming and finishing materials, and performing basic equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. The position also involves installing graphics on various surfaces, including walls, windows, vehicles, and indoor and outdoor signage, ensuring accurate placement, secure application, and a professional appearance. The role requires close coordination with the design and production teams, adherence to safety and quality standards, and occasional on-site work at customer locations for installations.

Qualifications
- Experience with wide-format printing, including operation of large-format printers, cutters, and laminators, and basic equipment maintenance.
- Skills in graphic file preparation, including working with print-ready files, color management awareness, and familiarity with design or RIP software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, VersaWorks, or similar).
- Hands-on installation abilities, including measuring, layout, application of vinyl graphics, use of hand tools, and working safely on ladders or lifts.
- Attention to detail and quality control skills, including accurate measuring, trimming, finishing, and inspection of printed materials before delivery or installation.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple jobs, meet deadlines, and maintain an orderly production and installation work area.
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate with production, design, and customer service teams and to understand job specifications clearly.
- Physical capability to lift and move materials, stand for extended periods, and perform installation tasks in various environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in printing, signage, or related production and installation work strongly preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for occasional off-site installations, with a safe driving record.
