What You’ll Do
- Inspect fire sprinkler systems to ensure compliance with NFPA, state, and local codes.
- Check sprinkler heads, pipes, valves, and alarms for proper function.
- Perform system tests, including water flow, pressure, and alarm functionality.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs to keep systems operating safely.
- Perform service work and service calls, as necessary.
- Travel within the region (overnights may be required).
What You Need:
- RME-I and Backflow licenses (required).
- Knowledge of fire sprinkler systems, fire/building codes, and OSHA regulations (MSHA preferred).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Availability for on-call work when needed.
- Ability to climb ladders, scaffolding, and stairs.
- Work in tight spaces and various environments (indoors and outdoors).
- Lift and carry up to 70 lbs.
- Operate a motor vehicle safely.
