What You'll Do
- Inspect and test fire extinguishers and fire suppression systems
- Perform annual inspections on extinguishers
- Conduct semi-annual inspections on suppression systems
- Diagnose and repair suppression systems as needed
- Document findings and report any safety concerns or deficiencies
Requirements
What We’re Looking For
- A strong work ethic and commitment to learning and growth
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
- Good communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Basic comfort with mobile apps and iPads for digital reporting
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Comfort using hand tools and battery-powered tools
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Prior experience in fire protection, construction, or maintenance (not required!)
- Able to sit, stand, kneel, stoop, and crouch for extended periods
- Capable of climbing ladders, scaffolding, and stairs
- Can lift and move up to 70 lbs
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in various conditions
- Can operate a vehicle safely and navigate tight spaces
