Hybrid Work Arrangement: In this position, you should plan to spend time working in the office a minimum of 2 days per week. Responsibilities
As a member of the Property & Casualty Actuarial Department community you will be challenged and empowered to grow professionally. We are dedicated to helping each of our associates develop to their full potential. We appreciate your interest in this role.
As a Pricing Analyst you will:
- Utilize and maintain spreadsheet, mainframe, and other technical applications used in the actuarial ratemaking process
- Compile, organize, and review data for use by Analysts and Management
- Provide technical assistance to Analysts and Management
- Assist in the documentation of actuarial work products
- Assist Analysts and Management in responding to special requests for actuarial information and in conducting actuarial research

- Basic experience with programming languages (i.e., SQL, VBA, R, and/or Python) and/or desire and willingness to learn and apply these tools

Incumbency Period:
There is a 24-month incumbency period (beginning on the employee's effective date) for any lateral job movements and a 12-month incumbency period for any promotional opportunities, which must be met before the employee may post for other State Farm positions. The incumbency period does not affect the at-will relationship between State Farm and the employee and does not create an employment contract, nor contractual rights.
