We are looking for one smart, analytical, curious ASU student who wants hands-on experience using:
Google Ads AI Analytics Digital Marketing Real Business Data
This is not an internship where you spend your internship making social media posts or watching someone else work.
You will work with an established local business and learn how digital advertising actually turns into:
Clicks → Leads → Opportunities → Customers → Revenue
Your Primary Mission
Help us continually improve the performance of our Google Ads and digital lead-generation efforts.
You will work directly with Sharon Layman, State Farm Agent/Owner, who already has extensive hands-on experience managing Google Ads and digital marketing.
You will not be expected to figure everything out alone.
Sharon understands the strategy.
We are looking for someone who wants to learn it, execute it, analyze it and eventually take increasing ownership of the day-to-day work.
What You Will Work On
Depending upon your experience and development, you will help with:
Clicks are not customers.
Impressions are not revenue.
You Will Learn To Analyze The Entire Customer-acquisition Process
Advertising Spend → Lead → Quote Opportunity → Customer → Revenue
You Will Learn To Ask Questions Such As
Which campaigns are actually generating qualified opportunities?
Which search terms are wasting money?
Where should we spend more?
Where should we spend less?
Why did conversion performance change?
What should we test next?
That is how businesses actually evaluate marketing.
