Role Description The Insurance Representative role is a full-time, on-site position located in Tucson, AZ with a State Farm Agent’s office. The person in this role will assist customers in understanding and selecting appropriate insurance products, including auto, home, life, and other lines based on individual needs. Daily responsibilities include providing quotes, explaining coverage options, processing policy changes, and supporting claim-related inquiries. The Insurance Representative will engage in outbound and inbound calls, follow up on leads, and maintain accurate customer records. This role also involves delivering a positive customer experience, meeting sales and service goals, and collaborating with the agent and team to support office operations.
Qualifications
- Insurance knowledge and experience in Insurance Sales, Insurance, or Insurance Brokerage.
- Understanding of Finance and comfort discussing basic financial concepts related to insurance and risk management.
- Strong Customer Service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, listen actively, and build long-term relationships.
- Proficiency with computers and office software; ability to learn State Farm systems and tools quickly.
- Goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to meet or exceed performance targets in a sales or service environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in business, finance, or related field is a plus.
- Ability to work on-site in Tucson, AZ, maintain a professional demeanor, and handle confidential information responsibly.
- Property & Casualty and/or Life & Health insurance licenses (or willingness to obtain them within a specified timeframe).
