Role Description The Client Relationship Manager (Leadership) is a full-time remote role responsible for overseeing client relationship activities and supporting the growth of a State Farm agent’s office. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading client communication efforts, handling inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a high level of satisfaction across all touchpoints. This role guides and mentors team members in best practices for customer service, retention, and cross-selling insurance and financial products. The Client Relationship Manager collaborates with the agent to develop client outreach strategies, track performance metrics, and implement process improvements. The position requires proactive engagement with clients, strong follow-through on commitments, and consistent alignment with State Farm’s service standards and compliance expectations.
Qualifications
- Strong client relationship management skills, including customer service, active listening, and conflict resolution.
- Leadership abilities such as coaching, mentoring, team coordination, and performance monitoring.
- Communication skills including clear verbal communication, professional writing, and virtual presentation skills.
- Organizational and analytical skills, including time management, prioritization, and basic data analysis for client trends.
- Comfort working remotely with digital tools for CRM systems, online communication, and virtual collaboration.
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a client-facing sales environment is preferred.
- Ability to meet licensing requirements for relevant insurance products in the state of operation (or willingness to obtain licenses).
