The college offers associate of arts, associate of fine arts, associate of science and associate of applied science degrees, professional and skills certificates, and noncredit courses and programs, and workforce development training in a 14-county area in central Missouri with locations in Sedalia, Boonville, Clinton, Lake of the Ozarks, Whiteman Air Force Base, Jefferson City and online.
Position Purpose: State Fair Community College is seeking adjunct instructors for Earth Science courses on the Sedalia campus.
- Instruct assigned courses
- Utilize technology (including Canvas)
- Gradebook/feedback up-to-date within 1 week
- Timely response to student emails within 24 hours
- Meet attendance and final grade entry deadlines
- ILO/data reporting to Lead Instructor/Division as requested
- Maintain communication with Lead Instructor and Division Chair
- Other duties as deemed necessary for the function of the college.
If applicant has a bachelor's degree in Earth Science and sufficient appropriate other experience, alternative qualification for teaching may be possible.
