State Employees Credit Union ("State ECU"), a $1.3 billion financial institution serving Members throughout New Mexico, including the greater Albuquerque Metro area, in conjunction with Priority Financial Group (PFG) is seeking a Financial Advisor to join our Team. This position combines the stability of a salaried role with the earning potential and flexibility of an advisory practice. Ideal Candidate
As a Financial Advisor, you'll be embedded within State ECU branches, providing Members with personalized financial planning and investment guidance. You'll receive an active referral stream from branch employees and have opportunities for both branch coverage and an inherited book of business.
This is a true growth opportunity. You'll work collaboratively with the Credit Union team to train staff on identifying referral opportunities, conduct member education workshops, and help expand the visibility of the Credit Union's budding investment program.

- 2 years of client-facing advisory experience preferred
- CFP® designation is a plus, but not required
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills

Required Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
- Strong business acumen and decision-making capabilities.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicable business systems.
- Excellent patience, tact, enthusiasm and positive attitude toward the Members and general public.
- Travel required.
- Maintain a valid drivers license, and remain insurable.

Must be capable to execute all terms and conditions set forth in the Employee Handbook, including but not limited to:

General Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Some standing, walking, kneeling, stooping, bending and lifting.
- Must be able to lift up to fifteen (15) pounds at times.
- Must be able to access and navigate credit union facilities.
