Account Services Specialist

State Credit Union is in need of an Account Services position in the Columbia, SC area. In this position, the candidate will provide back office operational support to our Account Services department in a financial institution environment.

Applicants should be detail oriented and have an excellent work performance history. Candidates must have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, have proper telephone etiquette, be able to work well in a team environment, and have excellent customer service and follow through skills. Experience at a bank, credit union, or other financial institution is preferred but not required.

Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Inclearing, Courtesy Pay, IRA's, Billpay, and Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Chargebacks, & Payroll files
• Answer phone calls from branches and phone center related to items posted to members' accounts
• Verify and input domestic outgoing wires
• Research account activity
• Update daily department spreadsheets and ensure the accuracy of the information reported
• Back up other positions within the Account Services area, as needed
