Job Description And Duties
The Claims Processing Center has an immediate opening for a Scan/Index Assistant Manager at the Manager I level over a team in Scan/Index Operations. We will consider a Workers' Compensation Insurance Supervisor II. This position will be located in Fresno.
This is a 12-month limited term position which may be extended, cancelled, or made permanent at any time.
If becoming permanent, the selected candidate must be eligible for a permanent appointment at the time of the LT appointment or at the time of the conversion.
NOTE: This position is not fully remote and the selected candidate will be required to work in the office as scheduled.
As an Scan/Index Assistant Manager, you will be a second-level supervisor. Opportunities exist for management of in-house special projects and for participation as a CPC representative on State Fund project committees. Occasional travel may also be necessary.

Effective July 1, 2025, the State of California implemented the Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) which reduces an employee’s monthly salary in exchange for leave credits.
