What are the responsibilities and job description for the CUSTODIAN position at State College Borough?
Location: State College Municipal Building
Starting Hourly Rate: $20.92 per hour
Schedule: Work may include flexible hours with various shifts, however, the primary work shift will be Monday through Friday from 5:00AM to 1:00PM.

REQUIREMENTS:
The position of Custodian involves manual work in the cleaning and maintenance of Borough-owned and other public buildings for which the Borough is responsible under contracted service. The work is performed independently under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor. Due to the nature of the work and the hours of operation of facilities maintained, it is necessary to work flexible hours, seven days a week. The various shifts and duties are rotated among the custodial crew.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma or equivalent. Must pass a criminal background check and possess a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license.
In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to perform each of the established essential functions in order to perform this job successfully.
