What are the responsibilities and job description for the Softball Assistant Coaches position at State College Area School District?
The State College Area School District is currently accepting applications for Girls Softball Assistant Coaching positions at the high school and middle school.
The coaches are responsible for providing leadership and guidance to student-athletes as well as supporting the overall vision for the program. We are seeking a positive, passionate, enthusiastic individual who will not only instruct student-athletes in fundamental skills, strategy and physical training, but also guide and mentor them to be driven and responsible student-athletes and citizens. The Assistant Coaches report to the head coach in support of program goals and initiatives.
Both the PA Dept. of Education and the PIAA require specific safety and coaching training. See the Athletics website for details.
