The State College Area School District is seeking a highly organized and proactive Secretary to support the Assistant Director of Curriculum and Academic Interventions. This position plays a vital role in ensuring the efficient operation of K-12 academic interventions and Federal Programs, including support for grant management, scheduling, and communication across district offices. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with Federal Programs compliance, grant documentation, and communication with nonpublic schools.
- Support the organization of grant applications, reports, and compliance documents to ensure timely state/federal submissions.
- Coordinate logistics, including travel arrangements, registrations, and reimbursements, for conferences and summer intervention program events as needed.
- Maintain accurate records, monitor and manage timelines, and assist with instructional material inventory and purchasing.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with staff, administrators, and external partners.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary coursework preferred.
- Strong organizational, communication, and technology skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
- Experience in education or grant-related settings preferred.
