What are the responsibilities and job description for the Tournament Staff - Washington Middle School Basketball Championship March 20, 21, 22 (FRT/SAT/SUN) position at State Basketball Championship?
Event Staff needed for the Washington Middle School Basketball Championship being held in SPokane, WA - March 20nd, 21st, and 22nd.
The top teams in the state will meet in Spokane to battle it out for the 13th Annual Washington Middle School Basketball Championship.
We are seeking Admission Leads/staff, Court Supervisors, and Score/Book Operators. First come, first serve not all positions may be available.
Admissons Lead:
- $20 per hour
- Set up tournament signage/admissions table each day
- Manage admissions staff and table all weekend
- Assist in scanning tickets, putting on wristbands, and other duties needed with Court Supervisor
Court Supervisor:
- $20 per game
- Manage clock/book workers on each court
- Support officials in crowd control/gym environment
- Enter Scores on mobile scoring app
- Collaborate with Admissions Lead to
Score/Book Operators:
- $15 per game
- Run the book (mark fouls, timeouts, etc.)
- Clock (operate scoreboard and clock).
- Basketball experience or knowledge is required.
Admissions Staff:
- $15 per game
- Scan tickets with your iPhone
- Greet players, coaches, and fans.
Tournament Time and Dates (some facilities may not need this full availability):
- Friday - March 14th: 3/3:30pm - 9/10:00pm
- Saturday - March 15th: 7:00m - 9/10:00pm
- Sunday - March 16th: 7:00am - 4/5:00pm
On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday you must be willing to work a minimum of 6 hours.
Current Facilities where help is needed include Flett Middle School and the Podium.
