Summary of Position

Drives the profitable growth of a banking center. Provides strong leadership to drive results for the strategic and tactical goals assigned for both deposit and consumer loan growth.  Leads a consistent customer service experience to ensure delivery of superior quality service for customers. Builds mortgage loan business to generate secondary market income in addition to the mortgage loan portfolio.

Essential Functions

1.     Leads and manages designated banking center to ensure development and implementation of strategies that ensure profitable growth in key strategic areas.

2.     Fulfills Business Banking call expectations for customer retention, expansion, and acquisition.

3.     Supervises staff in the banking center.

4.     Actively participates and is engaged in civic activities that ensure the bank is viewed as a community leader.

5.     Partners with other lines of business within the bank to drive referral activity within the banking centers and generate new business and deepen customer relationships.

6.     Networks actively with the most influential and progressive members of the community to build a pipeline for quality growth.

7.     Maximizes sales productivity and improves employee capability through coaching and mentoring. Holds team members accountable for results.

8.     Leads a consistent customer service experience by ensuring that customer service standards are being adhered to by all banking center employees.

9.     Holds teams accountable for providing excellent customer service. Leads by example to maximize customer satisfaction.

10.   Leads and manages conversion of service requests to sales.

11.   Leads sales through consistent profiling, cross-selling, and follow-up activities.

12.   Promotes customer referrals between banking center employees and partners.

13.   Holds banking center teams accountable for compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

14.   Approves consumer loans within established limits.

15.   Originates residential mortgage loans.

16.   Responsible for soliciting new business via realtor, builder, and existing customer contacts.

17.   Collects and analyzes documentation supplied by borrower to determine loan structure and qualification of specific products.

18.   Adheres to all Federal lending rules and regulations for Mortgages in addition to all banking regulations.

19.   Monitors and manages all aspects of the individual loan portfolio.

20.   Other duties as assigned.
